While it may have been a long and slow week for some of us, the rest of the world keeps spinning. This week's Rhythm is a bit light thanks to certain upgrades that are being worked on and hopefully be in place sometime in the coming week. For now, check out how gamers can support Japan, what the economy is doing to hurt geeks, and an early review for the 3DS. Plus, rumors about NGP pricing.

The Rhythm (10)
My apologies for another late post, but vacation is vacation, and mine is winding down. So while I'm waiting for 127 Hours to download on my PS3 so I can review it, I figured I would take this chance to report the bitesized news about the week that was. It seems the past week mostly was about technology with GDC and the 3DS, as well as PS3 woes, and the iPad 2. Of course, it's not all tech as we get rumors about movies, tv, and oh yeah, did you forget Star Wars is going 3D? Check it all out below.

The GDC
This week marked two big events in the technology industry. The iPad 2 was revealed, and the iPad 3 was revealed game developers conference (GDC). Don't know about the GDC? Well, to put it simply any professional in the field of game development shows up to discuss game development, design tools, audio, networking, and technologies and more. It's kind of like the prequel to E3. The week long conference is heading into it's fourth day, but already we've seen some pretty interesting stuff.

The Absentee
As we all know, the Nintendo's [3DS] and Sony's [NGP] are heading into the battle royale of portable gaming, with Apple's iPhone/iPod ready to jump in and be an annoyance to both of them. So where's Microsoft in all of this?

The Legend
"Hey! Listen!" There's only one Legend and it ain't the Legend of Zorro. Okay to be fair, there are like something like fourteen, but we're here to talk about one in particular.

The Third
Life happens in four dimensions, but we generally observe only three. Still, for most of us this third dimension doesn't strain our eyes or whatnot, but that's the real world, that's life. Technology on the other hand is working as hard as it can to catch up to reality with 3D television, movies, cameras, and video games such as the Nintendo 3DS.
