The Trailer (Super 8)

If you haven't heard of the slew of alien packed films heading to theaters this year, kicking off with Battle: Los Angeles today, then you've missed out on J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's latest. Super 8 takes place in some town, some where, where a group of kids are filming a video using a super 8 camera when there's a train crash that seems to be more than an accident. You know what, here's a better synopsis from [Shock Till You Drop]:
"In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined."
Check out the latest full-length trailer.

I'm excited for this one since it looks like a return to Spielberg's earlier days (even though he is only a producer), and Abrams clearly knows what he's doing behind a camera. You can expect this new alien ride to land June 10.

Dream on.

Previously, I posted the tv [trailer] for Captain America, and now I've put together a few other tv spots for upcoming 2011 blockbusters. In case you missed them, here they are:
