The Trailer (5)

You know, since Cloverfield, the "found footage" motif has been making the rounds. In some cases it can be done well, but in others not so much (I'm looking at you Quarantine and Diary of the Dead). Apollo 18 is another film in that vein, except that the vein takes us back to the moon for an alleged 18th Apollo mission. Check out the trailer below and see why we never went back...allegedly.

Ridiculous right? I also like how they totally try to pass this off as real, with posting "the following footage has not been altered or enhanced". I can't imagine that this movie will do spectacular at the box office when it comes out April 22, but considering the other theatrical releases set for that time this year, I could very well be wrong.

Dream on.

dualism - (noun) the division of something conceptually into two opposed or contrasted aspects, or the state of being so divided
