The Week (of 2.6.11)

On to week 6 and bring on the releases. For TV, video games, and DVDs, get ready for the deluge of things to watch and play. I highly recommend It's Kind of a Funny Story which was a movie that kind of slipped under the radar but was very good, and I would consider it a capital "M" Moment movie. As usual, Monday and Thursday are stacked with new episodes and Tuesday is packed with releases, including quite a few re-releases in Blu-ray form such as Uncle Buck and Flipper. I'm not entirely sure whose movie library these will be fitting in, and why exactly we need HD versions of them, but go for it. Plus, Katy Perry on How I Met Your Mother this week. Like every other musician that's appeared on the show before her, she plays someone that doesn't have enough brainpower to light up a single Christmas light.

Also, Community's episode last week, entitled Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, was hilarious. If you've ever played D&D or have had some interest in seeing how it might be played (though I've never played it in this manner) check it out. It's great for a laugh, and it's a great introduction to the series which is great. I really need to find a thesaurus. Plus, it's a half hour comedy which is the perfect amount of comedy if you ask me. Enjoy.
